Traditionally, Blue Box was strictly a marketer-research firm.
Our specialty was, and always has been, marketing-marketing analysis (In simpler terms, we focused on analyzing the marketers). By watching the watchers we are able to suggest efficiency-boosting techniques, apply learned principles from one business to another, and warn adventurous marketers when they are about to make costly mistakes.
However, the times have changed and there has been an increasing amount of resilience inside the consumer. The economic turnoil has caused many marketing firms to scale back their aggressiveness (and therein, their budget), and suddenly Blue Box is birdwatching in antarctica.
While we are retaining clients that are large enough to handle the burden of this economy, we realized a shift was necessary for Blue Box to survive, and not only just to scrape by, but to prosper. We formulated a plan of direct consumer-to-business intervention involving what people need most in these rough economic times: Free Stuff.
So, as of 2008, we are set up doing a new thing with old techniques, and knowing our team and their expertise, there isn't a doubt in our minds that we will flourish in the coming months and years. Blue Box Gift Promotions is born!
